Medical Massage &
Cup Therapy

At Evolve Bodywork & Fitness, we offer the following medical massage treatments, which may include cup therapy:

• New Client - Full body treatment allowing the therapist to perform a comprehensive soft tissue assessment, addressing problematic areas and their likely causes as they are found. Following the treatment, a series of exercises and stretches will be recommended specific to the client’s needs.

• Pain management and rehab - For clients with known complaints, the therapist will use various modalities to address the root causes of those problems. Each treatment is tailored specifically to the client’s needs. Following the treatment, a series of exercises and stretches will be recommended specific to the client’s needs.

Cup therapy - traditional cupping involves the use of cups with the patient stationary. The cups create suction, stretching the soft tissue and increasing local blood flow. At Evolve we use cups for Myofascial Decompression, which involves movement and loading to assist in increasing range of motion.

Other modalities include, but are not limited to:

• Trigger point/neuromuscular therapy

• Sports massage and stretching

• Deep tissue work

• Myofascial release techniques

• Instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization (IASTM)
